This reasonably bright midweight could use more mid-palate complexity and a little more length but good balancing acidity and youthfully chewy but high-quality tannins make it pretty enjoyable glass of wine

Darroze 1999 Pouteou GBA 48.8% 200ml quinta-de-chocapalha which later became “Liebenberg”Golden colour with darker tints. Fruity flavours (plum, fig, quince), toffee and dry fruits (almonds, nuts). On the palate, tannins are round. We feel again some fruity flavours (plum, fig) and spicy (pepper, nutmeg, cloves). Long in the palate.
