Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A 1915 Bravery Medal In Bronze certificate_of_authenticity flanked by red stripes on(Tapferkeitsmedaille 1915 in Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte bearing a central Saxon coat of arms, topped by a royal crown and flanked by a date of 1914, the reverse with a central monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 27 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
