Bryant Park Frame Color:Black a puff of smoke andAs temperatures hovered around record highs for April, hundreds of New Yorkers spent their lunch hour getting a tan on the lush green grass of Bryant Park. Times staff photographer Vincent Laforet took the image on April 16, 2002, from atop a nearby building.
