Germany, Heer. A Breast Eagle for Enlisted Ranks, Late-War Uniform Cut-Off Example Republic of dark original patina(Heer Brustadler fr Mannschaften). Constructed of field grey rayon base, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, affixed to a coarse field grey wool underlay cut off of a late war (M43 or M44) service blouse, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), a battlefield retrieved example in near extremely fine condition.
