Germany, Freikorps. A Freiwilliges Landesschützenkorps Cap Badge Republic of Instituted 1906(Freiwilliges Landesschtzenkorps Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of gilded brass, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, interspersed with acorns and joined together at the bottom by ribbon, affixed with all intact reverse attachment prongs to a period field grey liner, unmarked, the badge measuring 45 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), a scarce example of a variant examined in Katalog der Uniformabzeichen der deutschen Freikorps by Ingo G. Haarcke,
