Constructed of silver gilt with white and blue enamels, along with sixteen red glass cabochons, on a horizontally pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from a correct period replacement ribbon, unmarked, measuring 43. 4 mm (w) x 48. 3 mm (h inclusive of ball suspension), on period triangular ribbon, very fine. Accompanied by the original case of issue in black lacquer with purple interior, measures 63 mm (w) x 97 mm
