Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a central circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a magnetic metal Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse demonstrating a central sunken rivet which secures the eagle in position, with a raised barrel hinge and banjo style pinback
