Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a NSKK style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the latter on a pebbled black background, topped by a stylized black banner bearing raised silver initials NSKK, the reverse with three sets of dual attachment prongs, maker marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 8 for Ferdinand Wagner, Pforzheim,
