Mucha Autumn European Wall Tapestry Vertical The flowers are inspired byMucha Autumn is a Belgian made jacquard woven wall tapestry. In this work by Czechoslovakian artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 1939). Autumn is personified in a piece from his The Seasons series, 1900. An ethereal woman poses with a basket of the harvest. Her gown is heavily beaded and she wears a beaded headband on her hair. A red draped chair is behind her and the background forms a stylized outdoor setting to create a dreamlike setting to the scene.
