Prussia, Kingdom. An Order of the Red Eagle, IV Class Cross with Case, by Neuhaus & Sohn Auction Archive with dates “1914-1918” circumscribing an(Roter Adler Orden Kreuz IV. Klasse mit Etui). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse overlaid by a white enameled medallion bearing a hand painted Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve oclock arm topped by an eyelet and suspension ring
