Klasse fr 9 Dienstjahre der Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften). Instituted 2 March 1869 by Grand Duke Friedrich Wilhelm. (1869 1913 issue). Constructed of copper, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central monogram of Friedrich Franz, the reverse with central Roman numerals IX, unmarked, measuring 35. 38 mm (w) x 42. 34 mm (h), weighing 12. 8 grams, in very fine condition.
