Constructed of silvered magnetic steel, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked KARL HENSLER, PFORZHEIM, measuring 46. 16 mm (w) x 58. 42 mm (h), weighing 16. 9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
