Not your typical rock star, Bruce was a working class guy. He came into success with albums like Born To Run and Darkness On The Edge Of Town, but in 82 released the paired down Nebraska that showed a tender side. What Bruce would do next was anybody's best, but what he did further catapulted him into stardom. Born In The U. S. A. was a pop record, but not one of glitz and glam.
