Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central inscription of KRIEGS VERDIENST (WAR MERIT), the reverse with a Fraktur initial W, the six oclock arm with a date of 1915, the twelve oclock arm with a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 44. 00 mm (w) x 48. 59 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
