Constructed of red wool with a buckram core, trimmed with Burgundy red piping, and pinned with a gilded bronze NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above an oak leaf and oak leaf branch of identical construction, the reverse retaining a mostly intact Reichszeumeisterei (RZM) label with a secondary code of 251923, measuring 50 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), with slight loss of finish
