Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing the monogram of Landgrave Heinrich I, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of 1244 FRST VOLK NCHSTENLIEBE WOHLFAHRT, topped by an integral loop and suspension ring retaining a period original ribbon, the ring stamped with a mark of
