Germany, Third Reich. A Large State Service Flag Auction fitted into a leather scabbard(Reichsdienstflagge). A large Reichsdienstflagge (State Service Flag), constructed of a red cotton twill base, reinforced along three edges with multiple rows of machine stitching and along the hoist edge with a layer of white cotton twill featuring a hollow channel which retains an original rope for suspension, with an additional rectangular red cotton twill patch embroidered to each corner of the hoist edge, dyed with double sided white cotton discs
