US Naval Academy 1931 Peacoat and done extremely well -A beautiful example of a Naval Academy peacoat, custom made in 1931! This is named to Elmer Dean Anderson of the Class of 1935, who would serve in the Navy in the immediate pre war period. He was unfortunately killed in 1942 when his ship, the USS Truxtun ran aground and brokeup in Newfoundland in severe weather. Read more about him here. This is a beautiful piece, shorter than the typical peacoat, and honestly it shares more with the WW1 peacoats
