We came to know and love Mould through Husker D, but when they broke up in 1988, he just kept on going. He released solo records, formed the band Sugar, and then returned to his solo career. In total, Mould has released 15 albums under his name, the first of which was 1989's Workbook, released by Virgin. The album contained a Grant Hart diss track and the single "Wishing Well."
