Constructed of polished dark brown wood, featuring a curvature countered for a comfortable grip, the obverse inset with a silvered Sturmabteilung (SA) style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 15 mm (w) x 10 mm (h), also inset with a partially silvered SA insignia measuring 9 mm in diameter, with each end perforated for the insertion of a tang and pommel nut, retaining a fully intact
