Mongolia, People's Republic. An Order Of The Polar Star, Type Iii (1941 Design) United Republic of A First War Naval Wound(Altan Gadas Odon ). Instituted in 1936. Three piece construction, in silver gilt with red, white, yellow, light blue and ultramarine blue enamels, type III with Cyrillic text in the ribbon banner, number engraved "9508" on the reverse, measuring 47 mm (w) x 54. 2 mm (h), screwback, fine chipping evident in the white enamels on the loop at the upper left, otherwise the enamels are intact, near extremely fine.
