Two First War German Imperial Awards Buy Now Sanchez and Mella in aPrussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, maker marked "Z" (Zeich, Berlin) on the ring, 42 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (iron with a bronze coloured gilt, magnetic, maker marked "L.
