Claude Dugat Griottes Chambertin vivier was created in 1982 fromPRE ORDER About Winery Domaine Claude Dugat, based in Gevrey Chambertin, Burgundy, has family roots in the region dating back to the 19th century. The modern incarnation of the domaine began in 1991, when Claude Dugat officially took control of the family estate, which had been established by his father Maurice in 1955 after purchasing the historic Grange des Dmes, a stone barn dating back to 1219 that once served as a tithe barn for the church.
