Gorgets like this were worn by officers in the Tudor era, by landsknechten and during the Eighty Years' War. The edges of the gorget are decorated with rope shaped ends. It has straps on the sides to which arm armour or pauldrons can be attached. This gorget is bronzed and has a polished edge. It matches the other Kaspas armour parts by Mytholon.
