The clock looks like it could pivot, but it doesn't. It looks great on a desk or bookshelf. The clock is made of copper with brass weights and individually cast sterling silver figures. It has a quartz movement that runs on one AA battery which is included with the clock. The movement is concealed from view by a copper disk. The entire piece is immersed in a liquid
